Senior Women’s Coach
We are looking at launching a new Senior Women’s team in 2017. We have interested players, but now need a driven coach to lead this team in its first season. With the new AFL Women’s league starting in early 2017 this is a fantastic opportunity to both grow our game and participant numbers and gain experience in Women’s football – an area that will no doubt boom and be in high demand in 2017 and beyond.
Senior Women's Players
If interested in playing football please contact us. We open to all ages and abilities no matter what your experience. Our new senior team will supplement our growing Youth Girls teams and our Women's Netball EFL teams.
Coach Training & Development
All new coaches will be supported by the Club in their training and development. Any new coaches will be required to attend the AFL Victoria Level 1 Coaches course (paid for by the Club). Coaching re-accreditation costs will also be paid by the Club. The development of our coaches is key to our Clubs future success so we encourage and will support other training and development opportunities during the year via local coaching associations, AFL Victoria, the AFL other Clubs within the TAC, VFL and AFL System.
With the success of our inaugural team in the Netball EFL Competition (Premiers and a league best and fairest winner) we are looking to expand to at least two teams in 2017. We are seeking interested players, coaches and team managers to help drive this growth again next year. The integration with the Football Club was a great success in 2016 and something we are looking at expanding again in 2016.
