NEW BLUE - Anthony McMahon

Waverley Blues Sign Experienced Playing Assistant Coach

Anthony McMahon has played over 300 games of senior football over two decades and has a reputation as strong, skillful, successful and extremely fit senior footballer. Hailing from the highly respected Glengarry Football Netball Club who are affiliated with the North Gippsland Football and Netball League, Anthony has played in and won premierships, featured in club and league best and fairest counts and been a Captain of his club for many years.

As a natural leader, club orientated person in conjunction with his profession as a Fitness Coach, Anthony will also be heading up our Preseason Strength & Conditioning program will be a challenge Anthony is accustomed. Over the last two years Anthony has been in charge of the Northern Knights U18 TAC Cup squad fitness Academy.

While preparing our playing group for the 2017 season will be a focus, we also know Anthony will become a welcomed addition to our on field playing group, while also supporting Ben Carboni our Senior Coach, with our commitment as a club to have a very strong Coaching contingent in place for the 2017 season.
